The Grace and Mercy Medal is an original design by Angela Tuuri,
a life-long Catholic. Angela was inspired from the Rosary and a
devotion to Our Lady of Fatima who encourages us to pray the
rosary for peace and the conversion of sinners. Bringing the medal
forth into the world has become a mission in her life. This
Catholic medal has been approved by her Pastor and Spiritual
Director in September of 2011. The Chancery Office of the
Archdiocese of Seattle has accepted the designing and creating of
this Catholic medal in the Spring of 2012. The Grace and Mercy
medal is in keeping with Catholic doctrine.
This Catholic medal is in the shape of a shield, signifying protection and
faith. In the center is a Greek Cross. Inside each corner of the cross is a
symbol of one of the mysteries of the Rosary...
Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, and Luminous.
Atop this Catholic medal are the Latin words Gratia et Misericordia,
meaning Grace and Mercy. The back of the medal displays the Sacred
Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Our Lady of Fatima "Angel's Prayer"
O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee Profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I beg the conversion of poor sinners.
Care of the Medal
The Grace and Mercy Medal is a custom hand crafted piece of jewelry. The sterling silver and gold filled pieces have two layers of lacquer baked onto the medal to preserve the shine and color of the metal. Bliss Mfg. recommends that you care for the medal with a light buffing with a polishing cloth. Please do not use a harsh silver or gold polish it may take the lacquer finish off. Bliss also would like that your medal be put on last after using hairspray and perfume. This care will preserve your fine jewelry longer.
